Jack and Gilles went up to the Hill to fetch a pail of separatists

Like most Canadians, I’ve been watching the popularity of Jackieboy Layton.

I’ve been asking myself: what gives?

After reading William Johnson’s column in the Citizen this morning, we should all be heading for the hills. Johnson, a well known and respected journalist explained that Jack’s mission was to court the separatist forces that have rallied behind Gilles Duceppe lo these many years.

He seems to have taken a page out of Brian Mulroney’s playbook and that could be bad for Canada. At the very least, it will be a “sea change” for the NDP.

I’m no pundit, so if you want to find out the real story, read this.

Hope Pat Martin is boning up on his French adverbs.
